Record demand for over 45 lakh saplings at Koppal Horticulture Fair

In total, more than 3.5 lakh saplings produced in the section nurseries were sold.
Vegetable seedlings such as tomatoes, peppers, brinjal, alabora, cauliflower, cabbage and roses, royal palm, hybrid hybrids and decorative juicy fruits were highly demanded. Medical plants such as insulin, rosemary and chakramuni attracted attention.
During the exhibition, 50 tons of Vermicompost, 10,000 liters of bio-ferilicer, 5,000 kg Neem cake and 500 kg of organic reinforcement were sold.
Farmers registered for 1,000 drops of irrigation installation facilitated by private companies.
Demonstrations and awareness programs
Kitchen gardens, terrace gardens, vertical gardening and hydroponics were organized and thousands of farmers willing to adopt new techniques. More than 300 farmers were interested in palm cultivation within the scope of ‘Mega Drive’ attempt.
