Man Jumps Into Yamuna During Video Call With Sister After Argument

New Delhi: An official said on Monday that a 21 -year -old man jumped from a bridge in Southeast Delhi to Yamuna River in an video meeting with his sister. The incident occurred on Sunday at around 23.20 hours when the victim, who was defined as a ritic, jumped from the Yamuna Bridge after a discussion with his sister.
Police said that a PCR call from the victim’s sister Suman was received at the Sunlight Colony Police Station and that his brother had jumped into the river during a video meeting with him.
He ran to a police team and a PCR minibus and left a motorcycle and a mobile phone on the bridge. Suman, who lived in Karol Bagh and prepared for the Public Services Exam, reached the point and explained the order of the events.
According to the police, Rithic has been living with her sister for the last few months while looking for a job. In his statement to the police, he entered the depression after a sprinkle with his girlfriend.
“On Sunday night, he argued with his sister Rithik during a video call and jumped into the river over the railing, in disappointment.” He said.
National Disaster Response Power (NDRF), Fire and Regional Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), including a team, including rescue services were immediately called, he said.
The rescue operation continued throughout the night and it was still continuing on Monday morning, but the victim had not been watched until now.
