Rajasthan’s police in Bharatpur claimed that a customer was cheated on flaws in the Hyundai Alcazar car, which was purchased in 2022, and recorded an oven against Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and others.
Fir, Mathura Gate Police Station, was based on a complaint by lawyer Kirti Singh (50), who said that he had purchased the Alcazar model from a Sonipat dealer in 2022 for 23.97 Lakh in 2022.
Mr. Singh claimed that the car began to develop serious technical errors especially during the acceleration or overtaking. “The car begins to vibrate, the speed does not increase and the engine management system shows a fault. This has endangered my life and my family several times.”
According to Mr. Singh, when he approached the dealer, they admitted to Hyundai that the problem was a production fee and they only proposed temporary corrections. “The problem continued to repeat, it caused financial, physical and mental distress.”
The complaint also states Mr. Khan and Mrs Padukone as Hyundai Brand Ambassadors.
Mr.
Police said the Fir was recorded under the relevant sections and that more investigations continued.
