Aminder Singh Raja Warring, President of the Punjab Congress, said that the wrong management of the dams and water headings was responsible for the wrong management of the state government for the flood situation in the state.

He asked why the water was allowed to accumulate in the dams in the upstairs and that he was not gradually released in time despite the prediction of heavy rains. Authorized, a “criminal negligence” rather than an unpredictable natural disaster, he said.

Mr. Warring, who has visited the various floods of Punjab in the last three days, said tens of thousands of people have been homeless, many of them have lost their lives and the loss of crops and animals has not yet been evaluated.

“Why wasn’t water released [from the dams] Slowly in advance, so that the dams can hold extra water later? “He asked.

He said that if it was done on time, the degree of destruction could be minimized.

Madhopur Headworks in Pathankot referred to the collapse of two flood gates, claiming that this was due to bad care.

The Ludhiana deputy caused great pressure from Headworks, as it was not released in time, and that the doors fell in the end.

The Congress leader wanted to eliminate the responsibility of this disaster and punish the criminals.

“We do not expect people in responsible positions not to act over time and in such critical times,” he said.

A part of Punjab was destroyed by the floods caused by swollen bra, beas and ravi rivers and seasonal rivets due to the heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir.

Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur and Amritsar regions are the worst hits.
