DFES control raging structure fire in Spearwood but motorists urged to avoid Rockingham Road

People are asked to avoid parts of a busy road in the south of Perth in the middle of a violent building fire.

On Monday, about 4.36, the Ministry of Fire and Emergency Services responded to a building fire on Spearwood on the Rockingham Road near Coleville Crescent’s intersection.

DFES made a statement that the fire extinguished immediately after 5.30.

“Firefighters patrol in the region and are erased,” he said.

Some parts of the Rockingham Road between Spearwood Boulevard and Lancaster Street remained closed just before 18:00.

DFEs asked the people in the region to stay inside and close their doors and windows to avoid breathing in smoke or smoke.

“People should stay away from the region,” he read.

“Drivers are asked to avoid the region, reduce speed and carefully drive,

“People with medical concerns should contact local doctors.”

Police joined the scene.

Currently, someone’s injury is unknown.
