ACCC issues urgent recall for popular child booster seat due to fears of serious injury, death

A child booster seat was urgently withdrawn from shelves due to serious injury or fear of death.

For six to 12 years, ACCC has released an emergency recall for six to 12 years for six to 12 years, which can be purchased on online sales.

The seat was sold between May 1 and April 30 this year.

It was urgently pulled after not complying with compulsory safety standards for child restrictions for use in motor vehicles.

The statement of recall, “If the vehicle suddenly stops or has an accident, there is a serious risk of injury or death”.

Customers were asked to immediately stop using the seat and return the item to 6 Chevrolet RD, Cranbourne East and Victoria 3977 for a complete repayment.
