Hundreds of Brisbane residents are fighting to save their local pools on the Mount Gravatt campus, the University of Griffith, which is currently destroyed.

Mount Gravatt Water and Fitness Center is located on the campus of Griffith University on the edge of the Toohey Forest on the east side of the Pacific highway.

The 55 -year -old campus was closed in early this year, while university was united on the south campus of Brisbane in Nathan and formed a new Brisbane City Campus in 2027 in the historical treasury building in the CBD.

The Mount Gravatt pool will be closed when the university is rented with the state government at the end of the year. The land will be transferred to the state government.

The university purchased the Treasury Building from the Casino Operator Star Entertainment for $ 67.5 million last year last year.

It plans to turn the Queen Street building on the inheritance list into a learning center for business, IT and law faculties and graduate and executive training center.
