Parvati Shallow wins Survivor: Australia v The World
On Sunday night, Parvati won. Survivor: Australia / World. Old winner We survivedIn Samoa, the Australians Leaving Luke Toki and Janine Allis behind, leaving behind, remaining behind, remaining behind and playing behind the five seasons. Spoke shallow National TV Editor Louise Rugendyke Winning, what he really thinks about Australian competitors, and why everyone is so sunburn.
Congratulations! In the last episode, you were really emotional, for someone who’s always very calm and under control, what brings all these big feelings for you?
This has been 17 years for me. It sounded like fate. He felt bigger than me and to have [fellow US competitor] Cirie was really meaningful there. I am just a more hearted person [than when I first competed in Survivor: Cook Islands in 2005]Also, because I’m a mother and a daughter now, some things will take me. And I wanted to win this very badly. When I win [final] The immune struggle, “Oh, I’m sitting in the last three.” I was like. I knew I couldn’t win that, then I was going to stay out of the game. But when I win [that challenge]Everything I’ve been holding inside for 16 days just started to fall out.
Survivor: Australia / the world wins the ultimate immune struggle after Parvati shallow and hosts Jonathan Lapaglia.
How hard was it to challenge the last immune challenge that you stand in the teams and hold weight? It looked completely crazy, but you looked so zen.
I’m really good at looking at Zen, but that was a challenging. Sharp was like standing on poker nails. I found out that I am really good in durability difficulties because I can shift the pain and carry it to different points, so that it cannot be very intensely overwhelming in one place. But yes, it was like torture.
Why did you want to join Survivor: Australia / World? You played at the highest level in the USA, why are you dealing with us here?
According to me Australian survivor Gives us Survivor A run for money. It was really well produced. An amazing show. Very fun. Australian survivor The characters are big, fun, very fun. And I wanted to play with the Australians. I wanted to have this experience. When [the producers] He reached me about playing Australian surviving v worldThey sent links to me to watch… And I fell in love with these characters like Kirby, David, Luke, Shone, George, I knew them all of them watching the show, and in the same way, most of the players became stars by me, as the star stuck by me.
Australian player (from left): George Mlakenov, Janine Allis, Luke TOKI, Sarah Tilleke, David Genat, Kirby Bentley and Shone Bowtell.
You voted for us best Survivor The player of all time, are you surprised that your name is never written? They went after some great threats early, but it seemed to leave you alone.
The first part is the reckoning between me and [fellow World player] Rob, Rob was trying to get me, and then I turned the tables and bought it, it was incredible. It was poetic because “Oh, we will unanimously get votes”, thinking that it would be against me, but unanimously voted and became blind. It was like magic. Moments I live on Survivor. But I was surprised that no one had voted for me because everyone was saying that I was the biggest threat, and they were targeting Cirie and trying to weaken me by taking my right hand out. But I don’t know. I think the girls knew I was an idol, so maybe they were worried about that.
Parvati was selected as the winner of Survivor: Australia v The World.
Do you think you make you such a good player?
It is really important to know when a conversation is real and when it is fake, because people are always lying. So I’m very good in listening, watching. I trust my intestines. I trust my instincts. Now, in this stage of my life-I wasn’t always so good to rely on my life-If I get a clue to a intestinal instinct in my own development, “These people go for me” or when I walk to someone, I get a strange feeling, “Okay, this person is closed”. I can tell you when someone is right with me and they are not. I develop relationships, I spend time with people, and I connect with them at a real level, so I can say when someone is strange. This is the most important.

How did your game change because you first played? Survivor Until now?
I’m less naive. I really trust when I first played. I took everything in a hundred value and learned it quickly Survivor betrayal, deception, manipulation game. And being at the receiving end of this betrayal read me and I wasn’t the same after that. I wrote in my memories about it [Nice Girls Don’t Win: How I Burned It All Down to Claim My Power] Because it was very shaping for me and made me a cut Survivor actor. So when I go back to playing for the second time [in 2008]I allowed myself to betray people. And then I noticed that I was really good. I surprised myself for being good Survivor Because I didn’t understand how I was very good about it. I was born in a very high -controlled spiritual community, so I think I was born and entered into some kind of mentality Survivor winning.
Parvati is shallow in the last tribal council with Janine Allis and Luke TOKI.
It took only 16 days this season – did that make it easier, because you didn’t have to worry about being hungry – or more difficult, because you didn’t have much time to establish relationships?
Both of them. It’s harder because everything is very fast. I had to be really solid with my allies to know exactly what was going on, and I should have adapted instantly. But it was easier as it was and we didn’t die of starvation. Also, I ate all these cookies [that she found in episode five at merge beach]Those sandy cookies. You didn’t see it at the show, but I was always eating them, just brave, sandy cookies.
Who was your favorite Australian player?
Luke and Janine were incredible. Luke sent me home without auction and really, the same day chatting and hanging out and joking because it was very funny. And I forgive him instantly. And Janine is very cute and authentic, just want to trust him and hang out and spend time with him. I really liked Shonee and I associated it to such a deep level because he left his baby to go out [and play]. I did the same thing too Winners in the war [in 2019]. I left my house for 10 months to go to the game. It is a very difficult game to play when you are a new mother, because you are in the field of nutrition and giving yourself and loving everyone. Survivor “No, you should take it for yourself and kill people you love.” It is really hard to make this transition as a new mother, so I respected her very much.
Jonathan Lapaglia was changed by David Genat to Australian Survivor host.
You played with David Genet No agreement or agreement island together Australia v World. What do you think of him as a player and how do you think he’s going to go as a new host? Australian survivor?
He and I only have a similar mentality. He’s a very good listener. You don’t meet too many men in the real world of television, which is common to listen to a woman and become a woman with a head Honcho. And I appreciated it. David is incredible, magnetic, very charismatic. He knows the game in and out. He’il be a great host.
Can you host us at all Survivor? Especially because it comes to the 50th season, he always chats about the resignation of the host Jeff Probst …
Yes, let’s assign a woman! Maybe the best of all time. Let’s assign him. If Jeff wanted to resign, I would welcome the torch.
Now – serious question – everyone Survivor It is always sunburn. Don’t they give you a suncream there?
Loading
I know, it’s hot. So there was that scarf in immune difficulties because my chest is burning, my body’s fries of potatoes. I think there is a sunscreen. We get sunscreen before the difficulties. The sun is too hot, you are there, these difficulties have been very long, sometimes two, three hours.
This season I watched with my nine -year -old daughter and loved that it was ruled by very strong women.
It was very fun. I felt like I was 25 years old.
