Heathrow Airport live: Terminal evacuated and firefighters attend ‘possible hazardous materials incident’

Heathrow says all other terminals working normally
All other terminals work normally, Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 said it was closed and evacuated, emergency services respond to an event.
The London Fire Department said that expert teams were deployed to make an assessment of the stage and that the terminal was evacuated as a precaution.

Firefighters responding to ‘possible dangerous substances’ in Heathrow
“Firefighters respond to a possible dangerous substance at Heathrow Airport.
“Expert teams were deployed to make an assessment of the stage and Terminal 4 was evacuated as a precaution while the firefighters responded.
“Tugay was first called about the incident in 1701 and Feltham, Heathrow, Wembley and the surrounding fire stations were sent to the crew to the scene.”

‘Please do not travel to Terminal 4’ says Heathrow, colleagues supports the passengers on the site
Heathrow AirPort published the following statement in X: “Emergency services responded to an incident and the terminal 4 check-in was closed and evacuated.
“Please do not travel to Terminal 4, their colleagues support the passengers on the site. We will give more information as soon as possible, all other terminals work normally.”
