Ireland threatens to withdraw from Eurovision if Israel participates

The Irish publisher will not participate in RTé’s 2026 Eurovision song contest “if Israel continues”.

RTé said in a statement that Ireland would be indisputable, considering the ongoing and frightening life loss in Gaza, “RTé said.

Irish won the competition in total seven times, last in 1996.

RTé will make a final decision after making the decision of the European Publishing Union.
