Oil India partners with Rajasthan’s power generator for green projects

Yeni Delhi: State Oil India Ltd, a partnership with Rajasthan’s power producer to produce renewable energy.
On Thursday, Oil India’s (Petroleum) Board, according to the company’s regulatory file, approved the establishment of a joint attempt with Rajasthan Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RRVUNL) to produce clean power in the state.
Transition to Assets Side Organization
In another major decision, the Oil Indian Board has approved the transfer of its renewable energy assets to Green Energy Ltd.
In January this year, the company established a subsidiary for renewable energy businesses. The business line of the new asset includes energy production through non -traditional or renewable resources, including wind, hydro, sun, tide, geothermal, biomass, vapor, wave, waste and hybrid.
According to the company’s website, the Energy Major operated by the state, 174.1 MW Wind and 14 MW solar project, including the 188.1 MW Board has renewable energy capacity. By 2070, the company diversifies its activities in accordance with its national goal.
Last month, Oil and Bharat Petroleum Corp. (BPCL) created an agreement to establish a joint venture to establish a gas distribution network, including the provision of domestic, commercial and industrial consumers in the province, including compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and pipe natural gas (PNG) in Arunaçhal Pradesh.
Ranjit Rath, president and general manager of PTROL, said the company’s long -term strategy involves accelerating clean and green energy with renewable energy, green hydrogen, biofuel and compressed biogas investments.
