Hefty sentence for Perth man who set his wife on fire days after she left him
Days after the end of his 11 -year marriage, a Wa man who set fire to his wife was sentenced to prison at the Regional Court and said that the crime of the judge was important consequences.

Moiler now claimed that his former partner shed light on himself outside the house of Mount Helena, and left him to 38 percent of his body with burns that changed life.
However, a jury did not agree, and on Friday, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison behind fences for crime.
During the hearing, the jury heard how the couple had been involved in drug use during their relationship, which led to volatility between the couple.

In May 2023, the couple decided to go to their separate ways and Kirsten moved to the nearby Sawers Valley suburb.
The court heard that the use of drugs was ongoing, led to an “unpredictable and irregular” behaviors that left Kirsten from Peter Moiler scary.
As a result, the police and the Midland Magistrate Court in the Mundaring consulted a restriction order to protect him from his alienated husband, but he was told he would have to return four days later to make an application.
