PM grilled Peter Mandelson about Epstein before appointment, insiders say

Sir Keir Starmer clearly asked Lord Mandelson about his connections with Pedophil Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted before deciding to appoint him as a US ambassador to the USA.

It is believed that the Prime Minister asked Mandelson three questions about his friendship with the infamous financier while studying for an effective role.

Revelation is likely to make more examination of what Sir Keir’s peer knows before he gets his job. Mandelson’s friendship with Epstein was known during his appointment, but no 10 people said that new information about it only emerged this week and made it dismissed.

Mandelson believes that he was right and clear about his relationship with Epstein, and when Pedophil was in prison, Epstein was not in Manhattan apartment in 2009. Another source told Mandelson that Downing Street did not stay there.

The court documents in 2023 showed Epstein that Mandelson was planning to stay to the private banker, but his peer never rejected or approved.
