Former student charged over alleged cyber attacks at Western Sydney University

A female former student allegedly carried out a series of cyber attacks against Western Sydney University appeared.

On Wednesday morning, the 27 -year -old was accused of 20 crimes against Hacks by the NSW Police’s Docker’s detectives.

Police will claim that the woman initially entered the university’s systems to provide unauthorized discounted parking space on the campus.

Later, it was claimed that he changed his academic consequences before increasing the behavior of other people in the university community.

The University of Western Sydney has faced a series of cyber attacks that have been allegedly committed by former students since 2021, with the threat of selling the stolen data and the knowledge of students between many hacking in the dark wax.

It is estimated that hundreds of staff and students are affected by attacks.

NSW police, Australian federal police and cyber security experts were accused of the former student after a long investigation.

The accusations of the woman, 10 unauthorized data in order to cause any access/replacement on the computer, to cause degradation, and in an honest manner through deception, financial advantage and so on.

Investigations are still ongoing through Strike Force Docker.
