Local Body Polls Likely After Jubilee Hills Assembly Bypoll in November

Haydarabad: The elections for urban and local organs are now expected to be held after the Jubilee Hills Assembly Bypoll. The Congress predicts that the Indian Election Commission will plan Bypoll with the Bihar state elections in the last week or at the beginning of November, and probably want to complete it before moving to local organ elections in November.
The government is preparing to approach the High Court next week to look for an extension of September 30, which was previously fixed to make elections to Gram Panchayats, Mandal Parishads, Zilla Parishads and municipalities. The government refers to the ventilation of legislation, which proposes 42 percent reservation for retrospective class communities in local organs and removes the 50 percent limit on quotas to facilitate this.
Recently accepted by the Assembly invoices, the governor and the president is waiting to be approved. Authorities, the quota issue before the clarity of the local organization will not be practical to make the elections, he said.
In June, the Supreme Court led the government to complete the polls by the end of September. For more than two weeks, the government officially decided to look for more time.
At a press conference in Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, TPCC President B. Mash Kumar Goud repeated that the delay in local body surveys is inevitable and that the Congress was determined to apply 42 percent quota in local organs. The authority claimed that the government would not progress with surveys until the reservation problem was solved.
The party announced that the congress leadership gives Priority to Jubilee Hills Bypoll. They expect the Indian Election Commission to announce the Bypoll program with the notification of the Bihar Assembly until the beginning of October.
On October 2, the party challenged his plans to intensify his campaign at Jubilee Hills immediately after Dasara. The Congress leadership aims to copy all its resources at the Jubilee Hills by putting all its resources in the Jubilee Hills, the Congress leadership, which they left BRS in May 2024. The Congress believes that a win in Jubilee Hills will strengthen its acceleration before local body surveys by wrestling BRS.
