Accused Charlie Kirk killer awaits formal charges

The Utah Trade School student will be accused of a deadly activist Charlie Kirk on suspicion of suspicion of right -wing activist Charlie Kirk, and will be accused of a violence that is seen as a point of bending in US politics next week.
Governor Spencer Cox said on Friday, 22 -year -old Tyler Robinson, relatives and a family friend affected him in a crime, he said.
The arrest closed the suspect’s 33 -hour human prey in the killing of President Donald Trump on Wednesday, which he called a “disgusting assassination”.
Kirk, the founding partner of the conservative student group Turning Point USA and a loyal Trump ally, was killed with a single rifle fired from a roof during the open -air event attended by 3000 people at Utah Valley University in Orem.
A bolt rifle, believed to be a murder weapon, was found nearby and the police released images from surveillance cameras showing a “interesting person” that wears dark clothes and sunglasses.
In the case, a break came when a relative and a family friend told his local sheriff’s office that he had “confessed themselves or implied that he had committed the murder.”
Robinson, a third -grade student at the Electric Apprenticeship program at Dixie Technical College, which is a part of Utah’s state university system, was detained at the house of their parents, about 420 km southwest of the crime.
The Governor said that Robinson was suspected of aggravated murder and other charges expected to be officially opened in court at the beginning of next week.
In the meantime, Kirk’s movement on Saturday, a monument event for Kirk on September 21, Arizona, Glendale’deki State Farm Stadium announced.
The killing confused the anger among Kirk’s supporters and the condemnation of political violence against the ideological spectrum. Kirk entered the internet with organized efforts to try to be expelled from their work to minimize his death or mockery.
Cox called Kirk’s murder “Basin in American History” and compared it to the rash of the 1960s US political assassinations.
He refused to discuss possible reasons for killing. Inspectors found messages engraved in four bullets with references to the memes and video game jokes. According to the declaration of arrest, a safe was written: “If you read this, you are LMAO”.
Many Republican, including Trump, were rapidly swinging on the political left, accused of accusing the liberals, the president and allies against their routine as routinely, accused of accusing a relative of the anti -conservative vitriol, which would encourage a relative spirit to violence.
State records show that Robinson is a registered voter, but is not connected to any political party. A relative told researchers that Robinson has grown more politically in recent years and once argued that they did not like Kirk and perspectives according to the declaration of arrest with another family member.
Kirk’s murder has been in the middle of the most continuous period of US political violence for decades. Reuters documented more than 300 politically motivated violence in the ideological range, as Trump fans suppressed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Trump survived two initiatives in his life, one left him with a grazed ear during a campaign event in July 2024, and the other was blocked by federal agents two months later.
The democrats also sacrificed. In April, a Kundakçı entered the residence of Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, and set fire while the family was inside. In June, an armed man who posed as a police officer in Minnesota killed Democratic State Deputy Melissa Hortman and his husband and shot his wife John Hoffman and his wife.
