Trio charged over death linked to vet euthanasia drug

Three people are accused of helping a man to get his own life using a veterinary euthanasia medicine, and more death is under investigation.
In April, two men and a woman allegedly committed suicide by a Gold Coast man were accused.
A forensic medicine ordered the police investigation after the 43 -year -old man had a deadly dose pentobarbiton.
The results of toxicology confirmed that the man died of acute pentobarbiton toxicity, a veterinary euthanasia medicine.
After a comprehensive investigation on the health registration and medical treatment of the man, the police accused two 53 and 80 -year -old men and a 81 -year -old woman.
Detective Inspector Mark Mooney said the arrests were the result of a complex investigation that was expanded to include a number of deaths dating back to 2021.
“We believe that this number can grow as the investigation continues.”
Police want everyone to come to the forefront.
“The alleged criminal, the most desperate moments of the alleged, use of them in the most desperate moments of the delicious targets.” He said.
“Queensland has very strict legal processes for people who think of end -of -life options.
“These guards are available to provide appropriate surveillance, consent and protection for those involved.”
The 53 -year -old Main Beach man is accused of two numbers of suicide and a number to have dangerous drugs, to have dangerous drugs, to have dangerous drugs and to receive or have the property obtained from trafficking or supplying human beings.
He is expected to appear again at the Southport Magistrate Court on Thursday.
The woman accused of committing suicide, trafficking in dangerous drugs, having dangerous drugs and selling potential harmful things will return to Southport Court on Tuesday.
The 80 -year -old Ashmore was accused of human trafficking and having dangerous drugs and will face the court on September 26th.
