Man charged after loaded gun, cash seized in Melbourne police chase

A loaded firearms and more than $ 2000 cash was captured after alleged a man in a stolen car.
Police claimed that the officers had tried to stop a Mercedes accelerating along the Nepean highway in the East of Brighton at around 12.15 pm on Tuesday, but refused to shoot and escape.
The vehicle was followed by the police to the parking lot of a Maribyrnong business, where the man allegedly behind the steering wheel left him and fled on foot.
Melbourne’s 22 -year -old child from Truganina in the West, while running from the scene was allegedly throwing a bag on a nearby bushes.
He was arrested soon.
Police said the bag was quickly placed by the dog team and contained a loaded weapon and more than $ 2000.
