Finance Ministry’s financial inclusion push sees 61 lakh new bank accounts, 2.6 crore insurance enrolments so far

In the last 2.5 months, the Ministry of Finance has opened more than 61 new bank accounts and has created a new record in the three flagship insurance plan as part of the three -month financial -inclination saturation campaign.
The campaign, which was initiated on July 1, 2025, was carried out by the Ministry of Financial Services in order to include every person in the country within the scope of financial inclusion plans.
“The primary purpose of the campaign is to expand the access of the flagship plans – Pradhan Mantriyi Jan Dhan Yojana [PMJDY]Pradhan Manti Jeevan Jyyi Bima Yojana [PMJJBY]Pradhan Mantry Sararaksha Bima Yojana [PMSBY]And Atal Pension Yojana [APY] To all suitable people throughout the country, ”he said.
Towards this, camps are being carried out in Panchayats and urban local organs. So far, 15 days remained in the three -month period.
