Massive search for Nancy Guthrie launched in MEXICO after anonymous tip claimed her ‘grave’ has been found

A massive volunteer search for Nancy Guthrie has been launched in Mexico after a group received an anonymous tip claiming her ‘grave’ had been found, according to a report.
The leader of the local Buscando Corazones collective in the city of Nogales said that information about the missing 84-year-old came on Wednesday, according to local media. El Imparcial.
The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Office have not confirmed or addressed the new information.
The report stated that the Buscando Corazones collective had previously found more than 25 unmarked graves in this area.
Local community leader Ramona Guadalupe Ayala Ortiz said the tipster claimed Nancy was buried in one of the creeks in the area known as Mariposa.
The creek is located near the Mexico-Arizona border.
Ortiz said the group first searched the area provided by the tipster, but Nancy was not found there.
The search party said they would continue looking for Nancy and the others, even though they came up empty.

Today Show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, has not been seen since she was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona, in the early hours of February 1.
Savannah has since returned to Studio 1A in New York City to host the daily talk show, but the search for her mother continues.
A few days ago, she shared a post on social media, revealing that she has been crying ‘every day’ since her mother disappeared four months ago.
“I cry every morning on the way to work,” Guthrie, 54, tearfully told co-host Jenna Bush Hager on Monday.
Nancy was last seen on the night of January 31, after being dropped off at her other daughter Annie’s house following a family game night.
Some evidence has come to light since the case was first filed, but none has resulted in an arrest.
The latest set of evidence emerged in early April after FBI agents discovered ‘potentially critical’ new DNA at Nancy’s home.
Agents sent the sample to a private lab in Florida, sources told ABC News.
Hair fragments found on Nancy’s property are among the new evidence being tested, NewsNation previously reported.

The ongoing investigation into Nancy’s surprising disappearance is being led by nearly two dozen Pima County and FBI investigators.
So far they have examined a series of blackmail messages sent to the Guthrie family and media outlets demanding money in bitcoin in exchange for Nancy.
None of the ransoms were paid, as the Guthrie family demanded proof of life from them but never received a ransom.
Authorities and the family also could not verify the authenticity of the ransom notes, although they agreed to pay.
Only a few people were interrogated during the investigation. No one was arrested.
Various evidence was also found in the house and surrounding area, including drops of Nancy’s blood on the front porch, a shattered doorbell camera, and various gloves.
Surveillance footage also shows a masked man outside his front door tampering with the doorbell camera before grabbing it.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos recently announced that he is no longer in contact with the Guthrie family.
“I personally am not,” Nanos said. People Asked last month if he was still in direct contact with his family, he said communication was now handled by detectives and the FBI.
“If they need the family for anything, they contact them and the family,” Nanos said. ‘It works both ways.’
The Daily Mail has contacted the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office for comment.
