A 65-year-old runner has died after being hit by a bus in Perth

A runner who was hit by a bus died in the hospital where he was taken.
A 65-year-old man who was taking a morning walk on Garden St in Thornlie, south-east of Perth, was hit by a Transperth bus traveling along Forest Lakes Drive at about 7.40am on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said the man suffered serious injuries in the horror crash and was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital by St John WA paramedics.
The man could not be saved and died in the hospital where he was taken.
Police are investigating the scene and have asked for any witnesses or anyone with footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
