For the last few weeks, the events of dog bites occurred occasionally in the region and took the average of several cases a day.
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, 67 dog bite cases were reported from Kalyan and Dombivli towns.
Sudden increase, victims were treated in civilian and private hospitals caused overcrowded.
The events were largely caused by the street dog threat in the borders of the Kalyan Dombiv municipal company (KDMC). Authorized, all patients, including anti-Labes vaccines, including appropriate treatment, he said.

Dr Shukla said that KDMC regularly runs sterilization drivers to control the street dog population.
