I’m A Celeb audience member reveals the live final drama viewers DIDN’T see including ‘David Haye’s attempt to make amends with Adam Thomas and contestants breaking down in tears during ad breaks’

A viewer of I’m A Celeb’s chaotic live final has claimed there was even more drama when the cameras weren’t rolling on Friday.

The final descended into mayhem as Jimmy Bullard accused eventual winner Adam Thomas of being ‘abusive, aggressive and intimidating’, prompting Gemma Collins and Sinitta to angrily storm off the stage while David Haye launched into a cruel rant.

But one fan said on Instagram that she saw David, the former boxer accused of bullying Adam, actually trying to make amends and shake hands with his rival.

He described his entrance onto the stage as “something out of Jerry Springer”, bringing Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt to tears during the commercial break.

The fan said: ‘What you didn’t see was after David made fun of Adam for the first time, during the ad break David went up to the final four on the couch and said “Hi” and Adam flatly denied it. [to shake his hand] and he said: “No, I don’t have that.”‘

Jimmy said David would not stay quiet when talking about his contract details and reasons for leaving the camp, which led to the crowd booing him.

Before the stars returned ‘very heatedly’ claiming ‘something broke’ offstage during a break.

Despite being crowned the winner, she said the emotional Adam looked like a ‘broken man’ and ‘didn’t want to be there’ and walked off stage as quickly as he could.

The Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment.

In unseen footage from the I’m A Celeb final, Adam allegedly ripped off her tiara and threw it to the floor after David ‘provoked’ her.

The soap star, who was chosen as the winner, had the opportunity to speak to Jimmy after the former footballer said “I’m a celebrity” during one of the trials and allegedly called him the “C-word”, leaving Adam in danger of going home.

Now, it is claimed that in the previously unpublished footage from the night, Adem ‘removed his crown and threw it to the ground’.

According to The Sun, this move allegedly came after David ‘tempted Adam’; with the boxer telling the Emmerdale actor: ‘You are not a worthy winner.’

In response, Adam reportedly said: ‘This is bullying.’

Elsewhere, the publication claimed Adam’s close friend Gemma called David a ‘disgusting bloke’ and said boxer and footballer Jimmy was ‘an embarrassment to reality TV’.

The Daily Mail has contacted ITV and Adam, David and Gemma’s representatives for comment.

The allegations emerged when Adam’s wife Caroline shared a cryptic post on Instagram saying “last night was such a bad night”.

Sharing a series of snaps from her trip to London, Caroline wrote: ‘Episode 36 didn’t start the way I had hoped, 4 trains and a 2.5 hour taxi to London and a terrible night last night but here we are – onwards and upwards.

‘I’m so grateful to have spent two nights in one of my favorite hotels, with love, lots of room service and tea.’

Viewers watched as TOWIE graduate Gemma followed Sinitta off the set; Jimmy accused Adam of being ‘abusive, aggressive and intimidating’ during an abusive argument during the pre-recorded show last year.

The Toy Boy hitmaker has seemingly thrown his support behind Jimmy, telling viewers: ‘Guys, you weren’t there, I was there and it was aggressive and abusive, we were shaking.’

Jimmy admitted that he had to leave due to personal reasons and that he would not receive his full salary if he did not perform ‘I’m a Celebrity’ on the competition.

‘Listen, Adam and you all may be mad at me and I totally threw him under the bus, I understand and I’m going to wear this,’ Jimmy said. ‘But I don’t stand for someone being abusive and aggressive and scary, I don’t stand for that.’

Inviting Ant and Dec to share their views on the matter, Jimmy said: ‘You [pointing to the hosts] We were there and you showed none of it [footage].’

“You didn’t show any of your C-bombs, that’s a freedom,” Jimmy fumed.

Ant argued: ‘The reason we haven’t released the C-bomb is because it’s unbroadcast. I was there and didn’t think it was scary. ‘I was there, Jim.’

When the man got the chance to speak he said: ‘I take full responsibility for my actions and yes, emotions were definitely running high at that moment.

‘I have nothing but love for Jimmy at that moment. I have apologized to Jimmy many times and I take everything he has said into consideration and all I can do is apologize.

‘I don’t want to show myself this way and I have never shown myself this way before or after. ‘I’m sorry Jimmy.’

‘That’s a funny way of showing it,’ David chimed in, before Ant and Dec angrily told him to cut it off.

David continued: ‘I like to say it how I see it, I like to keep it real and what I see is a lot of editing to make this poor guy look pretty. [pointing to Adam] He should be the victim so that the people will support him.

‘We all joked back and forth, most of it stopped on their end. But I think it’s time for the truth.’
