‘A Disciplined And Persistent Player’
Praful Hinge started his IPL journey in style; He took four wickets on his debut; Three of them were in the first round when the Sunrisers Hyderabad team faced Rajasthan Royals recently. It couldn’t have been a better start for someone who came into cricket almost casually.
Praful’s sister Pragati, who is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has been constantly supporting the pacer, shared some information about the young player’s development. “I was absolutely surprised by his performance, but I was sure he would do something extraordinary,” he says proudly, adding: “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time.”
His sister says Praful was not very aware of cricket as a sport. He joined the cricket club “casually”. However, he turned out to be “the most disciplined and persistent player”. He adds: “What I love most about her is that she is so mentally strong. She always faces difficult times in a positive way.”
Talking about family, Pragati says their father, a retired government employee, and mother, a homemaker, laid the foundation of values and resilience for the siblings.
Discussing Praful’s exciting debut performance, Pragati says: “My favorite wicket of the four was the second one, when he cleanly bowled Dhruv Jurel.”
“I am extremely proud of him. May he achieve great success in his life. The sky is not the limit, your mind is the limit.”
