Located on the Pacific “Ring of Fire,” the Philippines is one of the most earthquake-prone countries in the world. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest recent earthquakes in the Philippines:
June 8, 2026: Offshore A 7.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Mindanao At least 32 people died in the southern Philippines. Tsunami waves hit some coasts.
