The royal duet delighted fans in the opening episode of ‘Together for Christmas’, broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX from 7.25pm.

Kate, 43, and Princess Charlotte, 10, performed Holm Sound by Scottish composer and producer Erland Cooper from the Orkney Islands, whose work is inspired by themes of nature and connection that are deeply important to the Princess of Wales.

Holm Sound was written and composed by Erland for his mother Charlotte.

The special moment was captured in the Inner Hall at Windsor Castle last week, and the royal family was joined by Erland on the day.

The stunning performance was recorded in the Inner Hall at Windsor Castle last week.

Following the letter, the choir began by singing the hymn Once in Royal David’s City.

The program also includes two community films; one of these focuses on an artist from Fleetwood, Lancashire, who hosts a Christmas dinner for those who are lonely at this time of year.

The latter will feature London Platinum Performing Arts students performing at the ceremony.

Kate has played the piano at previous festival concerts, including a touching performance at the televised Westminster Abbey ceremony in 2021.

On this occasion, she stunned the audience at the ceremony in London when she played the piano to accompany singer Tom Walker with a touching song performed by candlelight.
