Harry Styles fans are convinced the singer is dressing up as Daddy Pig to take part in Sunday’s London Marathon.

Peppa Pig’s father is running the 26.2-mile trail to raise awareness and funds for the National Association for Deaf Children after his son George was recently diagnosed with hearing loss.

But fans watching the race began to think that a global pop star was hiding under the pig costume.

Harry, 32, is known for his passion for running and last year took part in two marathons under pseudonyms, sharing how it allowed him to be alone with his thoughts and escape the trappings of fame.

One way The star stunned fans last year when she appeared on the streets of Tokyo to take part in the city marathon.

While fans claim to recognize Harry’s legs, rumors are circulating that the two stars are identical.

Speculation reached such a fever pitch that Joe Wicks, who was training with Daddy Pig ahead of the marathon, was forced to explain the theory live on the BBC.

Interviewing the pair, BBC Sport presenter Gabby Logan said: ‘I need to address this; There’s a certain story brewing online right now that this costume actually features Harry Styles, who, as we know, is a very good marathon runner.’

Drawing attention to Joe, he asked: ‘Can you confirm that this may be the case?’

But the Body Coach replied: ‘Listen, Daddy Pig is Daddy Pig. He’s himself, he’s being himself, and there are no celebrities here right now.’

As Daddy Pig danced playfully, Gabby joked: ‘The way he’s dancing at the moment, I think we can tone it down.’

Joe admitted: ‘It’s a good rumor, I love it. It spread like wildfire on social media. ‘I don’t know if Harry Styles has legs!’

Gabby said: ‘I don’t know, people are searching online at the moment. We’ll see when you cross the finish line…’

Using TikTok and X, fans continued to theorize about Daddy Pig’s identity and continued to poke fun at rumors that he was Harry; some suggested a ‘Masked Singer-style reveal’, while others showed close comparisons of the duo’s legs.

They wrote: ‘Why TikTok believes Harry Styles ran the London marathon in a daddy pig costume….this might be the most British thing I’ve ever heard’;

‘I’m so invested in the theory that Harry Styles is the one participating in the London Marathon as daddy pig’; ‘HARRY STYLES IS A DADDY PIG AT THE MARATHON??’;

‘Wait Daddy Pig is Harry Styles?? Just today or always???’; ‘why is everyone saying Harry ran the London marathon dressed as daddy pig’;

‘so my mum thinks the daddy pig who ran the London marathon is Harry Styles’; ‘I need to know if Harry Styles is wearing a Daddy Pig costume today’;

But despite how convinced and hopeful some Londoners were that they might catch a glimpse of the Aperture star, many fans were quick to shoot down the rumors.

They insisted: ‘No, not their legs! ‘Know his better than mine’; ‘These are not my husband’s legs’; ‘I definitely don’t know what my man’s legs look like’.

To talk Runner’s World Daddy Pig said he will be running the marathon in a specially designed running costume and Mummy Pig and their children Peppa, four, George, two, and baby Evie will be there to cheer him on.

‘They map out where to watch so they can wave and cheer for me and the other runners. ‘It’s going to be great,’ he whispered.

‘He also had some creative ideas to help me raise funds. At one point Peppa was sure to make a ‘sponsored noise’, which seems exactly the opposite of sponsored silence. Luckily we’ve found other ways to fundraise together.’

In addition to inspiring his children, Daddy Pig also hopes to raise funds and awareness. The National Association for Deaf Children runs with 50 other runners as part of a team.

‘NDCS has provided us with such great advice and support since we found out George was moderately deaf in one ear,’ said Daddy Pig, ‘and this felt like the perfect way to give back and show our gratitude!’

Last month, it was announced that the hit children’s show would feature Peppa’s little sister in a powerful storyline. He was diagnosed as moderately deaf.

In the new episode, George goes to an audiology appointment during a routine doctor’s visit, and his family learns that he has moderate hearing loss in one ear.

He is then fitted with a hearing aid that allows him to experience sounds in a new way, and the marathon episode continues to reinforce its overarching storytelling message.
