Abusive father stabbed wife to death as she pushed pram in street
A man defined as “violence, jealous and control” was convicted of the murder after stabbing his wife in a deadly way and followed him to a women’s shelter.
Habibur Masum launched a “wild” knife attack on Kulsuma ACTER while pushing his seven -month -old sons into a children’s car. The court heard that he had “left him bleeding in the groove” before he calmly moved away from the scene and abandoned his babies.

He was taken to the hospital and said to a doctor, “When he fights him, he feels like he’s going to kill him.”
They moved to a house in Oldham in September 2022.
The jury members heard that in July 2023, Mrs. ACTER went to stay with her brother because of Masum’s control behaviors and threatened to harm him with a knife before returning.
On November 23, a male colleague was jealous of a “completely harmless” message, and was accused of attacking by holding his face, slapping him and pulling his hair. He was cleared without this accusation.
The court said to him: “I will kill you and the police will take me.”
The next day he went to the bedrooms carrying a knife and grabbed his throat.
ACTER’s brother -in -law was called police and innocent, Mrs. Akter decided to leave her and move to Bradford Shelter by Oldham social services in January 2024.
The innocent rejected the November incident and claimed that Mrs. Akter had produced a domestic violence against him as a way to stay in England while trying to return to Bangladesh.
The court sent him a photo of the building with a message while Mrs. Akter was in a shelter: orum I know you lived in this place. I knew since the first day you moved here.
