Vijayawada Utsav to Add Grandeur to Dasara Festivities

Vijayawada: Vijayawada deputy Sivanath, the name of Sivanath, said that the highly anticipated Vijayawada Utsav will coincide with Dasara celebrations between 22 September-2 October. Speaking at a curtain amplifier event on Sunday, the festival aims to exhibit the city’s tourism, culture and heritage on a large scale. Organized by the Live Vijayawada Association with the support of Andhra Pradesh government, UTSAV was designed as a people’s participation carnival.

The launch event, Mlass, Sivanath and Tirenetti Krishna Prasad’s existence, Mlas Tangirala Soumya, Bonda Uma Mareswara Rao, Gadde Rammohan, Sriram Rajagopal and Bode Pras. Events will be held in large places such as Krishna Riverfront, Kalakshetramli from Tummalapalli, Gantasala Music College, Indira Gandhi Municipality Stadium and Gollapudi exhibition areas.

MLAS called UTSAV as a common platform of leaders and elite and called on citizens to join. They also emphasized the potential to draw the pilgrims visiting the goddess Kanaka Durga during Dasara. Actress Samyuktha Menon greeted the initiative as a step to position Vijayawada on the global tourism map.

With music concerts, dance shows, film launch, AI -guided tours and helicopter trips, Vijayawada Utsav promises to revive the cultural vitality of the city decades later.
