Actress Noel Clarke was arrested by the police at the family house in London.
The detectives searched for the property of the former Doctor in Kensington, and officers seem to leave the address with boxes containing a laptop and documents.
Guardian understands that the Met investigation started on September 1 this year and was managed by the Central Expert Crime Command.
Clarke was arrested and questioned in custody. He was later released. The reasons for his arrest are unknown.
