Adam Hall’s victim speaks out as rapist jailed for HIV infections | News

A victim of Adam Hall has spoken out after the 43-year-old was sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court to a minimum of 23 years in prison for deliberately infecting his sexual partners with HIV and raping some of his victims.
The victim, whose voice in this clip was replaced by that of an actor, was only 15 years old when he contracted HIV infection. He learned that he had HIV in a phone call from healthcare professionals right after he got off the school bus.
Hall, from Washington, Tyne and Wear, hid his HIV status from partners, failing to take medication to keep his viral load low, then having unprotected sex with men, sometimes raping them.
He was found guilty of five counts of rape and seven counts of causing grievous bodily harm by deliberately transmitting HIV to young partners after meeting them in pubs in the Newcastle area or on the dating app Grindr.
