Adani Foundation’s social security programme, Mangal Seva, completed one year on Thursday, February 5, 2026. A program was organized in Shantigram, Ahmedabad to celebrate the occasion.

Mangal Seva was started by Jeet Adani and Diva Adani ahead of their wedding in February 2025. A statement released by Adani Group said that the program supports divyang women through financial assistance.

Within the scope of the program, 500 divyang (specially disabled) women are supported every year. “Beneficiaries are women aged 25 to 40 who hold Unique Disability Identification (UDID) cards and are identified by Youth Affairs,” it says.

Each beneficiary gets a fixed deposit of ₹10 lakh in partnership with State Bank of India. The deposit provides monthly income and the principal amount can be accessed after 10 years.

Adani Group said the program is planned to run for at least five years with an annual allocation of ₹ 50 crore.

The event started with prayer and program presentation. Fixed deposit certificates were issued to the beneficiaries. Cultural programs were presented by members of Ahmedabad Visually Impaired Association.
