Gautam Adani and the Adani Group have moved towards resolving two major US-linked cases involving Iran sanctions compliance and investor doxxing allegations. In the OFAC case, Adani entities reached a settlement in connection with allegations related to LPG imports from Iran through the Mundra Port, resulting in reduced penalties following compliance and remedial measures. Separately, the settlements reportedly included payments of nearly $18 million as U.S. prosecutors moved to dismiss criminal fraud charges in the SEC-DOJ renewable energy fundraising case.
