Indonesian school collapses, 65 students trapped

At least one student was killed and dozens of wounded, 65 people are believed to be buried in a concrete rubble of a collapsed school building in Indonesia.
During the night, the boiler rescue workers, police and soldiers, al -Khoziny, in East Java town Sidoarjo, drew eight weak and wounded survivors on Tuesday more than eight hours of the collapse of the Islamic boarding school.
The savior saw additional bodies, which showed that the death fee would rise.
The families of the students gathered in hospitals or near the collapsed building and worriedly waiting for their children’s news. Relatives cried while watching a dusty, wounded student from the buried prayer hall of the savior.
In the command mail established at the Boarding School Complex, a notification board listed 65 students on Tuesday morning.
They are mostly seven to 11 classes between the ages of 12 and 17.
“Oh my God … Son is still buried, my god please help!” A mother cried hysterically after seeing her child’s name on the board, followed by the screams of other parents who were exposed to a similar fate.
“Please, sir, please find my child now,” he shouted by holding one of the members of a father’s rescue team.
Nanang Sigit, a search and rescue officer who led the effort, said that it prevented the search and rescue efforts of concrete and other rubble and other rubble and unbalanced parts.
He had heavy equipment, but it was not used because of concerns that it could cause more collapse.
“We still work oxygen and water to those who are stuck under the debris and keep them alive while working hard to get them out.” He said.
He added that the savior sees a few bodies under the rubble, but still focused on saving what is still alive.
He participated in a few hundred savior efforts and had equipment for breathing, summarizing, medical evacuation and other support tools.
Provincial Police Spokesman Jules Abraham Abast made prayers in the afternoon in a building that had an unauthorized expansion when the students suddenly collapsed.
Residents, teachers and managers helped injured students with most head injury and broken bones.
The survivors said that female students prayed in another part of the building and managed to escape.
Authorities, a male student, a 13 -year -old child was killed and 99 other students were injured and taken to hospitals, some are critical.
The authorities were investigating the cause of the collapse.
Mr. Abast said that the old prayer hall was two times, but twice more without permission.
“The foundation of the old building apparently could not support two layers of concrete and collapsed during the casting process.” He said.
