Afghanistan 6.0-magnitude earthquake leaves at least 20 dead | World | News

According to local health officials, a destructive 6.0 earthquake claimed the lives of at least 20 people in East Afghanistan and more than 100 people were injured.

According to the US Geology Survey, the earthquake approached the Pakistan border on Sunday at 23.47 (20.17 pm in the UK). The scientific body said it caused “severe jolts” and widespread aftershocks and caused “significant losses”.
