On winning after falling behind early:
This group has great faith. I think over the last two weeks, when we’ve been behind, we’ve been telling teams that we want to come back and attack more.
We are now getting rewarded for it. We know there will be games where this doesn’t happen, but this was a great example and it was nice to win.
On Craig McRae’s coaching:
Honestly, this was a coaching masterclass. Fly [McRae] and the coaches were incredible.
Especially in the second half of the season, they really got us ready to attack and when it came to tonight, they said, ‘If we don’t score, we want to send Howie forward as one of our leaders,’ and we saw him go and score right away. That’s all the coaches are.
At Geelong next week and on their homecoming:
If you look at the standings, we’ve got a pretty tough run to get home, so it’s nice to get this win.
