Aged care fraudster allegedly obtained bank details of elderly victims for personal purchases

A Southern East Queensland elderly care worker brought the court to the forefront after the alleged secretly entered the rooms of vulnerable elderly residents to get bank details and make more than $ 9000 fraudulent purchases.

23 -year -old Margate woman Lily Miszuk, detectives in 2024 and 2025 after investigating a series of fraudulent purchases were accused of 113 crimes.

Police claimed that Mszuk received bank details from four elderly victims thanks to his employment in the Seabrae Manor Elderly Care in Rothwell and used this information to make 109 personal purchases between September 2024 and June 2025.

According to Seabrae, the elderly victims were 82, 85, 93 and 95 years old.

109 With the charges of fraud, Miss Miszuk was also accused of entering Enter twice with the intention of receiving Enter residence and each of them entering ENTER Housing and Contracting and Identity.

The court documents claim that Miss Miszuk had entered the Seabrae Manor room illegally and stole a debit card on June 10, 2025, Kathleen Kathleen Kathleen Kathleen.

In a three-day window from 10-13 June 2025, Mrs. Miszuk claims that 34 fraudulent purchases with Commonwealth Bank funds.

The court documents claimed that he had previously entered the two Seabrae Manor rooms of Margaret Goligher on September 26, 2024 to commit a crime to Evelyn Mason on 13 November 2024.

Between September and December 2024, it is claimed that Mrs. Miszuk made 75 fraudulent purchases with Anz and Suncorp funds.

The police also claimed that on February 24, 2025, in order to commit a crime in a Seabrae Manor room, he received identity information, that is, debit card numbers.

According to the police, the 23 -year -old child was arrested on Monday after a comprehensive investigation investigating the online and face -to -face purchase network.

Senior sergeant Lisa Elkins, “I thank the victims and loved ones for reporting suspicious banking activities and purchases,” he said.

“It will not be tolerated to take advantage of the elderly members in our community.”

Seabrae Manor immediately stopped by Mrs. Miszuk, who worked as a personal care assistant.

Seabrae Manor spokesman, “Our priority continues to support our residents and families and we will continue to cooperate with the authorities,” he said.

After the court on Wednesday, Miss Miszuk was given bail on October 16, 2025 to re -appear at the Redcliffe Magistrate Criminal Court.
