Teens hit by car at Ipswich takeaway store

Two teenagers have been seriously injured after being hit by a car at a takeaway shop outside Brisbane.
The crash happened in the Ipswich suburb of North Booval on Friday afternoon.
One of the male youths was pinned to the wall and the other was pushed into the store. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the blue Ford Falcon before the crash or witnessed the incident to come forward.
Fire crews used a crane to move the car away from the wall and rescue one of the teenagers.
The incident took place around 16:00 in a store on Gledson Street.
“Police were called to Gledson Street following reports of a crash between a blue Ford Falcon sedan and two pedestrians,” a police spokesman said.
“Two pedestrians, both teenagers, were transported to the Royal Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“None of the drivers or passengers in the vehicle were injured.
“Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or the moment before the crash to come forward,” the spokesman said.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said a crane was used to pull the Falcon from the wall and rescue one of the teenagers.
