Aldi announced a surprise 2P rule for all its stores in the UK in September. Budget Supermarket, which has been operating in the UK since 1990, has led the wage in terms of employee wages and has recently been competing by Lidl, who has recently increased the payment rate of the personnel with Aldi’s’s. Earlier this year, he announced that his staff will be paid 13 £ 13 hours from 1 September.
However, Supermarket, Lidl personnel will be paid 13 £ £ 13 after the announcement, to stay leader in the industry to 13.02 £ increased. The change affects more than 28,000 personnel throughout the country, which will notice the difference in payment shifts. In addition, the ratio increases to £ 13.95 with the service time.
The wages in London will be quite high, because the personnel will be a significant increase from the previous £ 14,05 hour fee to be paid £ 14.35 per hour from September. This will rise to £ 14.66 with the service period in Aldi stores in the capital.
This is the second wage increase of shop employees this year. Supermarket continues its best payment position in the industry with its main competitors Lidl, Morrison and ASDA.
It is also the only retailer to offer paid breaks to all colleagues. It is equal to approximately 1,425 £ this year for the average ALDI worker.
Aldi UK and Irish General Manager Giles Hurley said: “Our colleagues are determined to ensure that our success is at the center of our success and for their extraordinary works.
“Today’s higher wage increase than today is a part of our promise to be beaten in the salary.”
The new hourly price of £ 13,02 pays a sharper increase than the previous 12.75 £ and pays Aldi more than £ 13 per hour as the first supermarket in the UK.
