Van ‘bursts into flames’ after being hit by train at level crossing in Kent

A train hit a minibus that turned into flames in a flat transition in the City.
The British transport police responded to the lower way in Teynham near Sittingbourne this afternoon.
Steve White, General Manager of Southeastern, confirmed that a train hit a flat transition to the vehicle.
He sent it to x: ” @Se_railway The level of a train near Teynham is closed after a train hitting a minibus in the transition.
“Gillingham & Faversham and Sheerness & Sittingbourne are working reserve buses. We work with emergency services.”
Reports about social media claiming that the train is a high service of London seems to show a vehicle in the flames as the police approached the road.
Vehicles were warned to wait for a deduction until 18:00.
