Moldova detains 74 over alleged Russia-unrest plot

The Moldova officials carried out 250 raids and were detained as a part of the investigation into the allegation of allegedly provoking Russia’s “mass rebellions” and destabilizing the country around a critical parliamentary elections.

Police said that raids targeted more than 100 people and took place in many places around the country.

Moldova’s Office Chief Public Prosecutor Victor Furtuna to fight organized crime and special cases, seventy -four people were detained for up to 72 hours, he said.
