Labourer killed, another injured in mud collapse in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka

When a pile of mud collapsed on them while digging a basement for a house in Yelahanka, a construction worker was killed and another injured.

The incident occurred on Monday evening of a multi -storey building.

According to the police, the deceased person came from Andhra Pradesh and came to the city to work at the construction site.

Another worker was stuck in the mud, but he was rescued by his colleagues and passers -by. A hospital was replaced and said it was in a critical state. The identity of the victims would be identified.

A few minutes before the accident, the workers were digging for the foundation for the building. The pit was filled due to the rain and the mud said it collapsed. Other workers managed to escape.
