Kartik Aaryan, Mammootty, & Yami Gautam Win; ‘Committee Kurrollu’ Named Best Telugu Film

The central government has announced the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards for the year 2024. From more than 400 films reviewed by the jury, the committee selected the most extraordinary works in various categories.

Highlights:

Best Actor (Shared): For Kartik Aaryan Chandu Champion and for Mammootty bramayugam.
Best Feature Film and Best Actress: Article 370 While it won the Best Film title, Yami Gautam also won the Best Actress award for her performance in the same film.
Best Director: Rajkumar Periasamy for the movie amaran.
Regional Movies: Committee Kurrollu It was voted Best Telugu Movie and Raayan It won the Best Tamil Film award.
Best Film Critic: Sanjeev Srivastava.
