Amaal Mallik’s aunt calls Farrhana Bhatt ‘terrorist’; her family takes legal action, seek Rs 1 crore and…

Farrhana Bhatt’s family has demanded a public apology and compensation of Rs 1 million after Amaal Mallik’s aunt Roshan Garry Bhinder called Kashmir-based Farrhana a “terrorist” in an interview.

Amaal Mallik and Farrhana Bhatt are often seen engaging in heated clashes with each other in Bigg Boss 19. While Farrhana’s family filed a legal notice against her after Amaal’s aunt Roshan Garry Bhinder called the Kashmir-based Bhatt a “terrorist” in an interview, now their families are also fighting outside. Her family shared the announcement on Farrhana’s social media accounts on Wednesday.
The notice issued by Walwaikar Law Associates stated: “Legal action has been initiated against Ms. Farhana Bhatt for the defamatory and hateful statements. The family of actress and national level Taekwondo athlete Ms. Farhana Bhatt, currently seen on Bigg Boss Season 19, has expressed deep sorrow over the defamatory and collectively charged statements made against her in a recent YouTube interview. A legal notice has been issued to Ms. Roshan Garry. Bhinder, Fifafooz Kudos to YouTube Channel and YouTube India for publishing and promoting false and hateful statements, including outrageous and baseless allegations calling Ms. Bhatt a ‘terrorist’.”
He further added: “The family has chosen to take dignified and legal action rather than succumb to the confusion and online provocation by the other party. The notice demands immediate removal of the defamatory video, public apology and compensation of Rs 1 crore for reputational and emotional damage. Copies of the notice have also been sent to the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Commission for Women for appropriate action. The family urges the public and media to avoid dissemination of unverified or hateful content and to Respecting the ongoing legal process.”
In October, when Amaal’s aunt Roshan was asked about Farrhana in an interview with Fifafooz, she replied: “Evil. Terrorist. Sorry, I don’t want to say that. But vo jo hote hai na rakshah log jo logon ka khoon peene ke baad hurry hain, that’s what she is. (Like a laughing demon after sucking people’s blood).”
Besides Amaal and Farrhana, nine more contestants are currently locked in Bigg Boss 19. These are Gaurav Khanna, Mridul Tiwari, Abhishek Bajaj, Kunickaa Sadanand, Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Neelam Giri, Tanya Mittal and Ashnoor Kaur. The show started with 16 contestants and later 2 wildcards entered. Six were removed from the show and one left for health reasons.
