Amazing city full of billionaires named world’s happiest | UK | News

The “safe” city of more than 1.6 million residents is said to be the happiest city in the world to live in, and although it has a number of tall skyscrapers, it is also “surrounded by nature”. This is a place that many billionaires choose to call home and is also a popular tourist destination due to its beaches surrounded by turquoise sea.
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, offers spectacular sea views, including the highly-rated Saadiyat Beach, where turtles and dolphins are often spotted, according to visitors, and is said to be “cooler” than its neighbor Dubai. Just outside the city there are mangrove trees and plenty of wildlife to see, including Arabian oryx and mountain gazelle. If you’re looking to escape the cityscape, boat tours can be reached to the Arabian Wildlife Park on nearby Sir Bani Yas Island, or a desert safari can take you to Al Wathba to explore the sandy wilderness.
TimeOut magazine surveyed the global landscape to find the happiest cities. The survey was ‘based on responses from local people’ and Abu Dhabi came out top.
Reporting the results and what they are based on, Timeout said: “Our measure of happiness was based on the percentage of positive responses to five statements:
“My city makes me happy; I feel happier in my city than in other places I’ve visited or lived; People in my city seem happy; I enjoy the daily experiences my city offers; The feeling of happiness in my city has increased a lot lately.”
timeout He said the Emirati capital “received top marks across the board, with almost 99% of locals agreeing that their city makes them happy”.
It was reported that 93 percent of people living there said they felt happier in Abu Dhabi “than anywhere else.”
The city also came first in the voting for walkability and was highly praised for its culture, traditions, green spaces and nature; Visitors described seeing the “most epic sunrises” in Abu Dhabi.
Thousands of people in the city have found Abu Dhabi Mall an extraordinary shopping experience, with its 200 stores, food courts and cinema for everyone to enjoy.
One impressed recent visitor wrote in their Google review: “A reflection of what the capital as a whole has to offer. The views from both inside and outside the mall are spectacular.”
