Amazon backs AI startup that lets you make TV shows

What if you can write your own hit show section without a crew or camera, just a request? This is exactly what a San Francisco initiative called Fable aims to do with the new artificial intelligence platform Showrunner.
Now it supports Amazon’s Alexa fund. Although the exact amount of investment has not been disclosed, Amazon’s participation points to an increase in interest in AI -supported entertainment. The fable describes Showrunner as “AI Netflix”, a place where everyone can write a few words and create a section instantly.

Hollywood turns into AI Tools to reproduce the film spell
Instead of watching the shows passive, Showrunner invites users to create together. You can create a section from scratch or jump to a world initiated by someone else. Everything is done with text: just define the scene or the story and AI works. The company was officially launched with Exit Valley, a satirical, animated series in a fictional technology center called Sim Francisco. Imagine Family Guy, but it aims at Titans, the Silicone Valley, such as Elon Musk and Sam Altman. Nervous, funny and completely reinforced by AI. If you are wondering, go to the Showrunner website and will be directed to Discord servers where the sections are published and new sections are made in real time.

Edward Saatchi, CEO of Fable, has a history of forcing the boundaries. Before starting the Fable, he founded Oculus Story Studios, a part of the Oculus VR, which was purchased by Meta. The latest task: Turn Hollywood into a two -way conversation from a one -way broadcast.
“Hollywood flow services are about to be two -way entertainment.” He said. “The audience will be able to make new episodes in a few words and become characters with photography.”
This vision has already begun to take shape. The fable has previously released the South Park section produced by Nine AI, which received more than 80 million views. These sections were made with the registered AI engine of the finely tuned company for animated storytelling.
Currently, the Showrunner is completely focused on animated content, and this is not an accident. According to Saatchi, the animation is much easier than photogeralist video for artificial intelligence. Technology giants such as Meta, Openai and Google compete to create realistic AI videos, while the fable avoids this battlefield. Instead, starting daily users to be the writer, director and even the stars of their own shows to give tools. All you need is a little imagination and a few lines of text.
Whether you are a writer, a fan of animation or just be a person who is wondering about AI, this change opens to a completely new entertainment. You no longer need a Hollywood budget to tell a story. If you have a creative idea, you can implement it instantly and share it with a community that does the same thing. Showrunner gives you the power to shape the pop culture, not only consumes. You can even confuse existing parts or jump to a world produced by AI with your own twist.
