Shocking anti-Muslim remark lands GOP congressman in hot water

Rep. Randy Fine (R-Fla.) sparked bipartisan backlash after posting an anti-Muslim message on social media site X.

“If they force us to choose, it wouldn’t be hard to choose between dogs and Muslims.” Fine aired on Sunday on X.

Fine wrote a follow-up post about 10 minutes later to provide “context.” His second post included a screenshot of a post by Palestinian American activist Nerdeen Kiswani.

Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) called on House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to immediately “rebuke” Fine.
