Amazon India announces 1.5 lakh new jobs ahead of the festive season: 5 things to know

Amazon India recently announced that it has created 1.5 lakh seasonal working opportunities in the country due to the increasing demand during the festival season. In a statement from Amazon India, thousands of women have been created for more than 2000 PWDs and business opportunities have been created and the company has already included most of these new partners.

  1. These include Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Haydarabad, Lucknow, Cochin, Coimbatore, Indore, Raipur and so on.
  2. It is available in seasonal business fulfilling centers (FCS), ranking centers and last mile delivery stations.
  3. “Access to Early Payment (EATP) Program, 80 percent of the accrued salaries of the partners within the first 20 days of each month, encourages financial flexibility and health.” He said.
  4. The company claimed that it provides free health checks to more than 80,000 delivery partners in big cities and provides comprehensive services including eyes, teeth, BMI and doctor consultants.
  5. “Many of these new partners continue their journey beyond the festival period with Amazon, returning to work with the United States every year,” Amazon said.

In addition, there is a place of first aid (‘PUBARE’) facility in the centers of performing first aid or resting centers. Amazon said it increased the number of Ashray recreation centers in India to 100 to support the welfare of its partners in the e-commerce network.

“Throughout our operations, they work in our buildings, whether they offer packages to customers-we give priority to the safety and prosperity of all partners.” He said. “It is dedicated to encouraging a safe, egalitarian and strengthening working environment, which includes social security assistance and supports the financial welfare of our entire team.”
