Sarah Ferguson banished ‘in disgrace’ as she finds 11th hour solution | Royal | News

Sarah Ferguson, who is preparing to move to other countries as the Epstein scandal continues, has been “exiled in disgrace from the royal family”, a royal expert has claimed. Fergie, as she is affectionately known, found herself without a title or home after the King’s brother and ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor stripped her of her titles and honors due to her links to the convicted pedophile.
Following the furore, the disgraced former prince agreed to leave his home at Royal Lodge and move into one of the houses on the King’s Sandringham estate. But the decision left Ms Ferguson, who had lived with her ex-husband at the luxury Windsor mansion since 2008, essentially homeless.
Now, a bombshell new report from the Daily Express has revealed that Sarah’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, has prepared a room for herself in the luxury £3.6 million oceanfront villa in Portugal owned by her and husband Jack Brooksbank, as the former duchess prepares to “escape the UK”.
Local sources said Fergie will probably move into the villa in the new year.
Now a royal expert has said Ms Ferguson was “a disaster” as a working royal and that her latest bombshell with Epstein made it a “smart” and “sensible” decision for her to go into “exile” in Portugal.
He told the Daily Express: “It may be wise to go into exile in disgrace. Sarah Ferguson, exiled in disgrace from the Royal Family, has reportedly decided to stay with her daughter Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank at their home in Portugal.”
“As a working royal, she was a complete disaster; her debts and surrounding scandals became a famous case, but she had an ability to bounce back that many admired.”
But he added: “When the Epstein files are finally released he may be embroiled in another scandal.
“The Palace has rightly made it clear that someone with a reputation for shamelessly corrupt behavior has now been exiled. His charities have rejected him. He would undoubtedly have been a useful witness for the FBI, providing what he knew about Epstein’s accomplices.”
“Andrew becomes embroiled in more scandals as more compromising emails emerge, it only makes sense for him to move abroad. There are many hoping he won’t come back!”
