Tom and Luke Snackaballs sold at Coles supermarkets have been recalled

A snack sold nationally and online in Coles supermarkets has been recalled over fears it could cause injury.

Smartfoods Limited has recalled hazelnut and raspberry flavored Tom and Luke Low Carb Snackballs after plastic was detected in the packaging.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand has warned that food products containing plastic could cause illness or injury if consumed.

The recall affects 112-gram snack packs with dates marked September 3, 11, and 15, 2026, and October 16, 2026.

Consumers were advised not to eat the products and to return them to Coles for a full refund.

“Consumers concerned about their health should seek medical attention,” the warning read.

The product is sold in stores across Australia and online.
